The Victron Blue Smart IP67 is a waterproof battery charger equipped with Bluetooth. You can check the status of the Victron Blue Smart IP67 and the battery on your smartphone and configure settings using the VictronConnect app. The housing of the Victron Blue Smart IP67 charger is made of aluminum, and the electronics are encapsulated in resin. This protects the Victron Blue Smart IP67 from sparks and makes the charger shock-resistant. The Victron Blue Smart adapter features a 5-stage charging algorithm for lead-acid batteries. These five stages are: bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage. A special 3-stage charging algorithm has been developed for lithium-ion batteries. These three stages are: bulk, absorption, and float. The charger automatically adjusts the charging process based on your battery’s usage, making it easy to recharge. Additionally, this helps preserve the battery, as the charger knows the best and fastest way to charge your battery.

If you’re not using your battery, it’s advisable to keep it charged. A heavily discharged battery can be damaged. An unused battery slowly discharges, which can cause harm. To prevent discharging, the Victron Blue Smart IP67 has a storage mode. This function keeps the battery charged. The storage mode activates automatically if the battery is not discharged for 24 hours. Once a week, the voltage is increased again to the absorption level to allow the battery to recharge!

The Victron Blue Smart IP67 is highly efficient. It has an efficiency of 95%. The Victron energy charger dissipates up to four times less heat than a comparable charger. It is also protected against overheating. The charger is energy-efficient, consuming five to ten times less power than the industrial standard.

Stay always informed about the charging status using the two LED indicator lights. If the yellow LED flashes rapidly, the charger is in bulk charge mode. If it flashes slowly, it is in absorption mode. If it stays on continuously, the charger is in float mode, and if it’s off, it is in storage mode. When the green LED lights up, the charger’s power is on.
